I need advice on getting emanciapted.?

Well i am 17 years of age and i suitable and responsible. I live with my father who is great guy, but me and his wife dont really get along. SHe always makes me feel like a piece of **** and everyday it gets worse, i have a job and a car. I go to school and get decent grades. I work hard, but i think it is time for me to move on. I dont know how. I am capable of taking care of myself. I have alot of money saved up and my biolgical mother said if i can get emancipated she would help me find an apartment. all i want is to be able to run my life and not live under my evil stepmothers rules. She only wants to be there when i do something wrong. Like when i come home a little late for school and grounds me for weeks at a time. I need advice or should i wait.. My birthday is in january and i think it is a little to long for me to wait. What do yall think.
