Should we go to the funeral?

My daughters pre k clmate died unexpectedly last week and his funeral is tomorrow, he was 4. I am trying so hard to explain to my daughter that Jordan has ped away but shes not understanding, she even drew a picture for him so she can take it to heaven and give it to him. I even have been blunt and said that jordan died and he wont be coming back but she just thinks that God picked up Jordan and he will bring him back home when he is done visiting heaven. I wanted to go to the funeral so she can give him the picture she drew but im wondering if that's healthy for her to learn about death and to see his little body and to see his parents and other adults crying and so sas because she sees heaven as a happy place that she hopes to go to one day, she wont understand why we cry. Is it too soon to expose her to these realities or to just tell her i will take the picture to his grave later on? Please help me decide and also tips on how to explain death would be greatly appreciated....
