I need a piece of literature that alludes to previous folk/fairy tales.?

I need to find a piece of literature that alludes or refers to an older folklore or fairy tale such as "Hansel and Gretel", "Cinderella", "Snow White", "Alice in Wonderland", etc. This is for my AP English cl. We are reading the book, "How to Read Literature Like a Professor" by Thomas C. Foster. I NEED HELP!
