How or where should I learn linux?

I have a computer information systems degree but it didn't cover any Unix or Linux areas. I've played around with a few distros but that's about it - mainly just blindly trying to install software and looking to see what different things do. I need a structured/guided path for becoming a power user. I would like to steer my career down that way. I bought the fedora bible book and it seemed like it was something people would just use for reference for which applications would do what. Is there a good set of books or online videos that could help me?
