The base of the Eiffel tower is a square of 120 meter, so the half diagonal is 1/2 sqrt(2)*120 = 85 meter, this is the radius of the base of the cylinder. The height is 321 meters, so the volume of the cylinder is 7.4 million cube meters. The weight of air is 1.25 kilogram per cube meter, so the weight of the air would be 10250 tons. The weight of the tower is only 7000 tons so the mythbusters will probably not succeed in busting this myth which is actually true!
