Why has Machusetts voted everything democrat in the midterm elections?

Why has most of the nation voted for the republician party in the midterms, while Machusetts has voted every seat possible from Governor to House members as Democrats? Why is it like this? How come Machusetts never endured a republcian takeover? I am just wondering.......
