If it was possible to download yourself onto a computer before you died, would you do it?

I don't think I would. For one thing, I believe human's have souls so the hting on the computer wouldn't really be me, just an exact copy. I read in article in the Times about the prediction of human's becoming immortal through this method but don't find copying yourself onto a computer a form of immortality and would rather no have an imitation of me running around.
